Buttery Egg Bread

Ingredients
3 Tbsp sugar
1 envelope yeast
2/3 cup hot water
3 cups flour
½ tsp salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 egg

 Directions
1. In a small bowl, mix yeast and sugar. Add water and swell for 5 minutes.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, butter and egg.
3. Add yeast mixture to flour, knead to dough.
4. Cover dough and rise until doubled in size.
5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, warm a baking stone.
6. Punch down dough. Roll out to 1 inch thickness, cut with biscuit cutter.
7. Place cutouts on warm stone. Bake 15 minutes. 
8. Brush with additional butter and serve hot.
