Cabbage Salad

A nice take-along salad for picnics and potlucks.

 Cabbage Salad

4 cups red cabbage, shredded
4 cups green cabbage, shredded
1 sweet red pepper, diced
1 sweet yellow pepper, diced
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Mix all vegetables in a large bowl.

2. Whisk remaining ingredients in a small bowl, allow sugar to dissolve.
3. Pour dressing over vegetables, toss to coat.
4. Refrigerate at least 60 minutes before serving.
