Chile Relleno Puff

Ingredients
1 cup water
1 stick butter
1 cup self-rising flour
½ cup yellow cornmeal
½ tsp salt
3 tsp sugar
3 eggs, beaten
¾ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/8 cup chilies, chopped

 Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a large pie dish.
2. Bring water and butter to boil in a heavy stockpot. Remove from heat and allow complete cooling.
3. In large bowl combine flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and eggs, mix well.
4. Pour cooled liquid into bowl. Mix well to form batter.
5. Stir in cheese and chopped chilies. 
6. Pour batter into pan. Bake 35-40 minutes, puff will be tall and golden.
