Cinnamon Roll Cookies

Cinnamon roll? Cookie?
 

They’re Cinnamon Roll Cookies!
with glazed pecan topping

Ingredients
1 cup butter flavored Crisco
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
Few shakes salt
2 cups flour plus additional for rolling
¼ cup granulated sugar
3 Tsp cinnamon
5 oz glazed pecans, chopped

Directions
1. In a large bowl cream together Crisco and brown sugar. 
2. Beat in eggs, vanilla, baking powder and salt.
3. Add flour to create dough.
4. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon.
5. Divide dough into four workable portions. Roll each out dough to ¼ inch thickness and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
6. Roll dough up jelly-roll style. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and place in freezer for 30 minutes.
7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
8. Place chopped pecans in a shallow dish.
9. Cut dough in ½ inch slices, lightly press in chopped pecans, then place on ungreased baking sheets.
10. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
