Creamy Cabbage Casserole
Ingredients
½ cup mayo
½ cup cream
¼ cup water
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp fresh milled black pepper
3 cups cabbage, chopped
1 small yellow onion, sliced thin
1/3 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded
1 sleeve flavored crackers, crushed (I used Ritz “Everything”)
2 Tbsp butter
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together mayo, cream, water, vinegar, sugar and pepper.
3. Add cabbage, onions and cheese to bowl, stir to coat.
4. Melt butter in a skillet. Remove from heat. Stir in crushed cracker to coat.
5. Pour bowl contents into a 9 x 13 casserole pan. Top with crushed crackers.
6. Bake 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
