Crockpot Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger
1 orange
1 granny smith apple, peeled and chopped
1 red pear, peeled and chopped
8 oz dried dates, chopped
1 (12oz) bag fresh cranberries





Directions
1. Bring water to a boil.
2. Place sugar in crockpot with salt, cinnamon and ginger. Pour water over top.
3. Puree orange in a blender. Pour into crock.
4. Add chopped pear and apple, dates and cranberries, stir well.
5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally.
6. Allow to cool, store in jars or airtight containers.
