Cheesecake Cookie Bars

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup sugar plus 2/3 cup sugar, divided
¾ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 heaping cups all-purpose flour
2 cups plus ½ cup dark chocolate, finely chopped
16 oz (2 pkgs) cream cheese
2 eggs

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, ¾ cup sugar and brown sugar.
3. Add eggs, vanilla, soda and salt to bowl. Mix well.
4. Incorporate flour to form dough. Stir in 2 cups chopped chocolate.
5. Grease a large baking sheet. Scatter dough on sheet and press lightly to form crust.
6. Bake crust 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
7. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar and eggs. Stir in remaining ½ cup chocolate.
8. Spread mixture over prepared crust. Return bars to oven and bake 25-30 minutes, until top is set.
9. Cool completely before cutting into bars. Chill before serving.
