Gingerbread Cutout Cookies
with vanilla icing

1 cup butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
¾ cup molasses
¼ cup vanilla almond milk
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp ground ginger
1 /2 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp allspice
3 cups all-purpose flour

For vanilla icing:
16 oz powdered sugar
¼ cup vanilla almond milk

Beat powdered sugar and almond milk with an electric mixer until desired consistency. Set aside.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars.
3. Add molasses and milk to bowl, mix well.
4. Stir in soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon and allspice.
5. Incorporate flour to form dough.
6. Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes.
7. Place cut-outs on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and spread icing on warm cookies.
