Hard Cider Beef Stew
Ingredients
12 oz hard cider
26 oz beef stock
2 lb beef stew meat
2 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp fresh milled black pepper
16 oz tomato sauce
1 Tbsp brown gravy mix
¼ cup sweet yellow onion, chopped
¼ cup mild green pepper, chopped
½ cup mushrooms, chopped
Directions
1. Combine cider, stock, stew meat, diced potatoes, garlic and black pepper in a crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
2. Add tomato sauce, gravy mix, onion, pepper and mushrooms to crock. Cook an additional 3-4 hours at low heat.
