Spicy Cheese Log Appetizer

Ingredients
8 oz sharp cheddar, shredded
½ cup mayo
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp coarse black pepper
4 cayenne peppers, chopped
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ cup chopped pecans
Crackers

Directions
1. Mix shredded cheddar, mayo, onion powder and black pepper in a large bowl.
2. Stir in peppers and bacon.
3. Toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat, approx. 1 minute. Empty toasted pecans onto a sheet of wax paper. Allow to cool completely.
4. Shape cheese mixture into a log, roll to cover in pecans.
5. Wrap log in wax paper and refrigerate 4-6 hours before serving.
6. Serve with crackers
