Strawberry Cheesecake Cups

Ingredients
½ batch Snickerdoodle cookie dough, cinnamon and sugar
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp almond extract
1 cup strawberry pie filling
6 large strawberries, chopped
Sliced almonds to garnish

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 18 muffin cups.
2. Prepare half of a batch of snickerdoodle cookie dough. Break of a small portion of dough, roll in cinnamon-sugar and press gently into bottom of each cup.
3. Bake 10 minutes.
4. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar. Add egg and extract. Mix smooth.
5. Spoon cheesecake filling into prepared crusts. Bake 15-18 minutes, until center has set. Cool.
6. In a large bowl, combine pie filling and fresh strawberries. Spoon on cheesecake cups, garnish with almonds.
7. Refrigerate 2-3 hour before serving.
