Sweet n’ Sour Red Cabbage

Ingredients
2 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp vege oil
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup vinegar
3 green onions, chopped
6 cups red cabbage, chopped
Salt and pepper

Directions
1. Melt butter and oil together in a large heavy stockpot.
2. Whisk in sugar and vinegar.
3. Add onions and cabbage. Turn heat to low and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionaly.
4. Drain well before serving.
