Black Bean Bacon Dip

Ingredients
4 pieces bacon
3 cups cooked black beans
½ tsp Dickie Bird Farm Minced Garlic
½ tsp Dickie Bird Farm Garlic Salt
1 (3 oz) can chopped green chilies
½ cup sour cream
4oz cream cheese
½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
2 green onions chopped
¼ cup red and yellow sweet pepper, chopped
Tortilla chips for serving
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cook bacon crisp, reserve oil.
3. In a heavy cast iron skillet, bring beans to boil with ½ cup water, minced garlic and garlic salt. Remove from heat.
4. Add bacon grease, refry.
5. Stir chilies, sour cream, cream cheese, cheddar.
6. Put skillet in oven. Bake 20-25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
7. Briefly sauté onions and peppers over high heat.
8. Top bean dip with crumbled bacon, onions and peppers. Serve with tortilla chips.
