Mushroom Chicken
with noodles

4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
½ cup flour
1 tsp Dickie Bird Farm Garlic salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper
2 Tbsp lard
2 Tbsp butter
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
3 green onions, chopped
½ cup chicken broth
¼ cup heavy cream

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt lard in skillet.
3. Combine flour, garlic salt and pepper in a shallow dish. Drench chicken in flour and brown both sides. Transfer to a square baking pan and bake 20 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions.
5. Melt butter in skillet. Briefly Sauté mushrooms and onions.
6. Add broth and cream to skillet. Cook over medium heat until liquid has reduced to sauce.
7. Toss noodles in sauce. Serve with chicken.
