Broiled BBQ Wings
Ingredients
Chicken wings or wingettes
4 Tbsp Sea Salt
Dickie Bird Farm Garlic Salt
Cajun seasoning
Sugar
4 Tbsp lard, melted
BBQ Sauce
Directions
1. Make brine by diluting 4 Tbsp of sea salt in 1 quart of water in a large bowl. Brine chicken wings for 6-8 hours.
2. Drain wings.
3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
4. In a large bowl, season wings with garlic salt, Cajun seasoning and sugar. Toss in melted lard.
5. Pour bowl’s contents onto a baking sheet.
6. Bake wings for 30 minutes.
7. Heat broiler. Broil wings 5 minutes on each side to finish with brown crispy skin.
8. Toss in BBQ sauce prior to serving.
