Creamy Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients for seasoned breadcrumbs
Leftover bread, torn to pieces
Olive oil
Garlic powder

1. Heat oven to 275 degrees.
2. Place bread pieces in an oversized bowl.
3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and seasonings. Toss to coat.
4. Bake until golden, about 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes. Cool.

Ingredients for casserole
6 cups frozen chopped broccoli, unthawed and drained
2 (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
½ tsp Dickie Bird Farm Garlic Salt
½ tsp minced onion
½ tsp crushed red pepper
4 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled
¼ cup butter
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl combine broccoli, soup, cheese, garlic salt, onion and red pepper. Mix well.
3. Grease a 9 X 13 baking dish.
4. Spoon broccoli mixture into dish. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over top.
5. Melt butter in a skillet. Toss with seasoned breadcrumbs to brown. Spread over casserole.
6. Bake casserole 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
