Sweet Hot Pickled Garlic
Ingredients
2 cups white vinegar
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 ½ cup sugar
1 1/2 lb garlic, cloves separated and peeled
5 hot peppers, sliced
4 pint jars with lids, sterilized
Directions
1. Combine vinegars and sugar in a heavy saucepan. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Cook 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Pack garlic cloves and peppers into jars, leaving ½ inch space to top.
3. Pour liquid into jars, leaving ¼ inch space to top.
4. Process jars according to safe processing standards or keep refrigerated. Allow 2 weeks rest before use.
