Cinnamon Brown Sugar Shortbread
Ingredients
1 cup butter flavored Crisco
1 cup brown sugar + extra for sprinkling
2 eggs
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp salt
¼ cup cornstarch
2 heaping cups self-rising flour

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, cream together Crisco and sugar.
3. Add eggs, beat to combine.
4. Mix in extract, tartar, salt and cornstarch.
5. Incorporate flour to form dough.
6. Roll dough out in a lightly floured surface to ¼ inch thickness.
7. Cut cookies with a round cutter, and again in half. Place on a baking sheet.
8. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
9. Bake 12 minutes. Cool.
