Honey Roasted Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients for honey roasted peanuts
2 cups peanuts
2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp honey

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
2. Melt butter and honey together in a stovetop skillet. Remove from heat. Toss with peanuts.
3. Spread peanuts on a cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes, stir, bake an additional 10 minutes.
4. Remove from oven and cool completely. Chop.

Ingredients for cookies
½ cup butter flavored Crisco
½ cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 heaping cups self-rising flour
1 cup honey roasted peanuts, chopped

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. In a large bowl cream together Crisco, peanut butter and sugars.
3. Add salt, soda, vanilla and eggs to bowl. Beat to combine.
4. Incorporate flour to form dough.
5. Stir in chopped peanuts.
6. Drop dough by spoonful onto baking sheets.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool.
