Meat Lovers Quiche
Ingredients for crust:
½ cup lard
¼ cup water
Dash salt
Dash sugar
1 ½ cup flour

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Knead together all ingredients.
3. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface.
4. Place in pie dish.
5. Trim edges. Prick bottom with a fork.
6. Bake 13 minutes. Remove from oven.     

Ingredients for filling:
1 clove garlic, minced
8 oz zesty sausage
3 green onions, chopped
3 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled
5 eggs
3 Tbsp cream
Salt and pepper
½ cup colby jack cheese, shredded

1. Grease a skillet. Add garlic, cook over medium heat until fragrant, 1 minute.
2. Add sausage and green onion to skillet. Brown. Drain well.
3. Crack eggs into a bowl. Whisk in cream. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Spread sausage mixture and crumbled bacon in prepared pie crust. Pour eggs over top. Top with cheese.
5. Bake 30-35 minutes, until cheese is golden and crusted. Cut and serve.
