Reese’s PB Heart Cookies

Ingredients
½ cup butter flavored Crisco
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
½ tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
1 egg
1 ½ cup self-rising flour
24 Reese’s Heart Miniatures, unwrapped and ready
Paper muffin cup liners

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, cream together Crisco, peanut butter and sugars.
3. Beat in vanilla, salt and soda.
4. Add egg. Mix well.
5. Incorporate flour to form dough.
6. Roll dough into small 1 inch balls. Place balls in center of cups. Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven.
7. Work quickly to press a heart into each warm cookie. Remove cup from pan to cool completely.
