How to Roast Chestnuts
Ingredients
Raw chestnuts
Salt if desired
Directions
1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Cut a cross into the skin of eat fresh chestnut.
3. Place scored nuts in a roasting pan. Bake until
the skins open and the insides are tender, about 30-45 minutes.
4. Cool and enjoy the sweet white innards! Sprinkle
with salt if desired.
